This tour offers participants an authentic city adventure and rare opportunity to experience Budapest from an insider’s point of view. Your experienced photographer has in-depth local knowledge, a passion for his city and for the art of photography. This specially designed photography tour helps you to experience Budapest through the eyes of a local photographer while at the same time improving you photography techniques so that you can deepen your experience. Looking at a city in terms of trying to capture its essence in a photograph really adds another dimension to your experience as you have more involvement and increase your awareness of a place.

The small customised photo tour is not exclusively for experienced photographers. Anyone can join from the beginner to the non-photographer. Your friendly, down-to-earth guide will put you at ease offering helpful advice and providing sources of inspiration. Don’t be afraid to switch to manual mode as your guide teaches you handy tricks that even the advanced photographer may not be aware of. Compositional advice may also be of assistance to some looking for more original images.

Possible itineraries may include: Széchenyi Bath and Spa Budapest, Hungarian State Circus, Budapest Jewish Ghetto, interiors of interesting houses, the famous ruin pubs of Budapest, Hungary’s biggest photography and vintage shop and Károlyi Garden.

Meeting/pick-up point: At Széchenyi Fürdo metro station (upstairs), Metro 1 (yellow line), near Széchenyi Bath in the City Park.
Duration: Three hours.
Start/opening time: Fridays at 2pm, from April to October.
