Hop over the channel and meet the neighbours with a day excursion to historic London on the Eurostar. Our representatives will wave you off at the Gare du Nord station in Paris. From there the train glides through the world’s longest undersea tunnel, the Channel Tunnel. Taking eight years and £4.650 billion to build, the tunnel finally opened in 1994 and now transports thousands of passengers every day. Relax with a continental breakfast and the morning paper and you’ll be at London St. Pancras station in no time. Our friendly representative will be waiting to greet you at the terminal with your complimentary welcome pack.
Then you’re free to experience all the sights and sounds of the diverse and bustling city of London with your London Transport travel card. Meet a celebrity at Madame Tussauds, where the eerily lifelike wax figures provide some amazing photo opportunities. Do some shopping at Covent Garden, or just dawdle in the square watching the capital’s most famous buskers and street musicians. Visit the spectacular Crown Jewels and the medieval dungeons at the Tower of London where you can learn more about the fascinating history of London. There’s plenty of time for lunch, sightseeing and shopping.
In the evening we reconvene at St. Pancras before boarding the Eurostar, which will whisk you back to Paris in time for bed.
Meeting/pick-up point:Gare du Nord, 1st floor next to the Eurostar ticket office, where you will receive your tickets.
Duration:One day.
Start/opening time: Check-in at Gare du Nord at 6.15am for departure at 7.13am. Please arrive 10 minutes before check-in time.
End/closing time: Check-in at St Pancras at 7.15pm for departure from London at 8.01pm. Please arrive 10 minutes before check-in time. Train arrives in Paris at 11.17pm.
Other: Passport/identity cards are required.
