Twizel is only 55 km away from the tranquil shores of picturesque Lake Tekapo, 65 km from stunning Aoraki Mount Cook National Park and 45 minutes’ drive to the snowy slopes of Ohau Ski Field. It is just a few minutes from the international rowing course and Formula One-class boating arena of Lake Ruataniwha and is close to the rare Kaki/Black Stilt breeding centre.
