Program

Day 1:
Denpasar - Lovina (Breakfast / Lunch)
Depart in the morning to visit the temple of Tanah Lot. Built on the rock up on the sea, this temple is dedicated to the Sea Goddess. We will continue our journey to Pura Luhur Batukaru, one of the six most important temples of Bali. Built in the 13th century, located at the foot of the volcano, the temple is outstanding for the beauty of its surrounding nature, in the middle of the forest with thousand of different trees and flowers. We will continue our visit to Jatiluwih to admire the most beautiful rice terrace of the island. Set in the heart of the Tabanan Regency in Bali, the Jatiluwih rice fields have been named a UNESCO Cultural Landscape. Lunch will be served in a local panoramic restaurant (800m above sea level). After lunch we will head to Bedugul village, to visit Pura Ulu Danu Beratan Water Temple on Beratan Lake. (1.200m above sea level). Our journey will continue to Munduk village. A short hiking into the rain tropical forest will lead us to Munduk Waterfall. The journey finishes at the black sandy beaches of Lovina. Overnight in Lovina.

Day 2:
Lovina - Ubud (Breakfast / Lunch)
Breakfast in hotel. will start our journey with the visit of the sacred hot springs Air Panas of Banjar set in the middle of the jungle in a beautiful tropical garden. Locals come here to enjoy a bath in the warm and sulphurous water. We will then make a short stop at the local market in Buleleng, followed by Sangsit and Kubutambahan villages to visit the temples of Pura Beji, dedicated to the Goddess Dew Sri who protects the rice fields, and Pura Meduwe karang, dedicated to Ibu Pertiwi who protects the dry fields. We will continue our journey toward Kintamani to admire the landscape over the crater of the Mount Batur, and Lake Batur (1.300m above sea level). We'll have lunch at a local restaurant with a spectacular view of Mount Batur. Then, after lunch, we will proceed to visit the Temple of Tirta Empul in Tampaksiring village, famous for its holy water, where Hindu Bali people go for purification. To end the day, we will arrive in Ubud to visit the beautiful Monkey Forest, one of Ubud’s most popular attractions. It is a natural forest sanctuary that is home to a horde of grey long-tailed macaques. Besides watching playful monkeys in their natural habitat, swinging through canopies, lazing along pathways or feeding on bananas, the site offers cool walks along paved pathways through a leafy nutmeg forest. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 3:
Ubud - Candidasa (Breakfast / Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will start our day with the famous Barong Dance, a classic Balinese way of acting out mythology by pantomime dance. Barong Dance symbolizes the eternal fight between good and evil spirits. After the dance, the tour will continue with the visit of a traditional Balinese house. A Balinese home is the result of a complex interweaving of various elements – a kind of feng shui, economic wealth, caste, kinship ties and practical social requirements. The next visit is Kehen Temple, another beautiful Hindu Temple. The structure of Kehen Temple yard is arranged to have a terrace and it shows the existence of tradition megalithic. We'll have lunch at a local restaurant with a panoramic view of Bukit Jambul hills. We'll then take the road to go to the complex of Besakih temples, the most important and biggest temple in Bali. The temple was built in the 11th century at 1000m above sea level, on the slopes of mount Agung, the sacred volcano of Bali. The last stop will be the bat cave of Goa Lawah, a natural cave dwelt by thousands of bats. Overnight in Candidasa.

Day 4:
Candidasa - Padang Bai Harbour (Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart to Padang Bay Harbour to catch the boat to Lombok or the Gili Islands.
