Program

Day 1:
AIRPORT - HOTEL (Breakfast)
Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel for accommodation and dinner.

Day 2:
TERRAIN - TANGKAHAN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, continue driving along the roads, which lead to Binjai to head north across the main road past several small villages with a rural landscape of rubber and oil palm plantations on both sides of the road interrupted by low-roofed low-lying houses on high pole to Tangkahan Rainforest, another entrance to Gunung Leuser National Park. Upon arrival in Tangkahan, head to the simple lodge for your accommodation. After lunch, continue with the elephant trek to Leuser National Park which covers an area of 9000 square kilometers in the heart of the Sumatra rainforests, home to a wide variety of exotic species of flora and fauna. It is one of the most threatened ecosystems in the world. You will cross the river and then walk along the river to where we will start the piping program. The tubing program begins and we will follow the current of the friendly river until the location has been determined. After finishing the pipe, we will walk back to the hotel.

Day 3:
TANGKAHAN - BUKIT LAWANG (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, check out and we will walk to the parking lot where our car has been waiting for us to take us to Bukit Lawang. Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, head to the simple lodge for your accommodation. After lunch, trek into the surrounding rainforest that lies on the eastern edge of Gunung Leuser National Park with the opportunity to observe various tropical plants, including a tangle of huge trees, twisted lianas, palm trees, ferns, and wonderful flowers and, fortunately, see wild animals such as the orangutan. After the trek, head back to the lodge for accommodation and dinner.

Day 4:
BUKIT LAWANG / BOHOROK - BERASTAGI - SAMOSIR ISLAND (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Breakfast early, and at the appropriate time, drive to Samosir via Berastagi with stop en route at the rubber plantation, palm oil and crocodile farm, which is the largest in Indonesia with about 1,000 reptiles of different sizes that are carefully segregated to avoid being swallowed up by the older brothers in open pens, where they are packaged like sardines. Afterwards, precede the walk in the forested foothills of Bukit Barisan and enjoy the panoramic view and we will stop at the fruit market to taste the delicacy of the local fruit. After lunch in Berastagi, we will go down this green plateau, which is a green grocery store of North Sumatra exploring the growing area, possibly seeing farmers cultivating vegetable gardens, then we will go to Lingga village to see the lifestyle of the Karo Batak tribe and their typical houses with an open floor plan in which eight related families live together under a single sloping roof or Rectangular ijuk straw interspersed with more modern ones. Then, drive to Tongging Hill, which is located on the northern edge of the Toba Basin to enjoy a panoramic view with a spectacular waterfall known as Sipiso piso. This waterfall is located in the hills with an altitude of approximately 800 million pesos and is surrounded by pine forests. With a height of about 120 meters, the Sipiso-piso Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Indonesia. After seeing the waterfall, we will continue the program to visit The Rumah Bolon in the small village of Pematang purba. The Rumah Bolon longhouse is the most prominent open-air museum if only one can be singled out. Visitors can enter the longhouse built by the 12th Chief of solid teak standing on 20 poles. Then, we will drive to Parapat in a panoramic manner. Upon arrival in Parapat, we will go to the port and then cross the lake to the island of Samosir.

Day 5:
LAKE TOBA CRUISE (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel. Cruise on Lake Toba by boat. Heading inland, visit Ambarita Village, which has an archaeologically important gathering place for the King of Siallagan that supposedly served as a sort of courthouse with ancient stone walls that were once topped with a thick thorny bamboo fence. The next stop is the Simanindo Village, which is, all the way to the northern tip of the island, known as the site of some of the finest traditional Batak Toba houses, particularly that of King Sidauruk, which is now a museum and a chance to see the folk dance of Toba Batak performed by the villagers and the Tao Island for a brief respite and possibly swim in the calm waters of Lake Toba. Afterward, head by boat to the village of Tomok, walking inland on the road lined with souvenir shops to a site to visit one of the island's most famous landmarks: King Sidabutar's 200-year-old boat-shaped sarcophagus surrounded by those of his descendants. Then, sail on Lake Toba back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Lunch en route. Cruise on Lake Toba back to Parapat
