Mexico City is the nation’s capital. Vibrant, multifaceted and always on the move. It is the political, economic and cultural core of the Mexican Republic. Mexico City keeps between its streets and long avenues the hidden secrets and events that have shaped the nation. 
Stroll through its historic downtown, discover its imposing Cathedral and the Templo Mayor, which still preserves vestiges of what was once the great Aztec empire. On Paseo de la Reforma (Reforma Avenue) you can admire the Ángel de la Independencia (Angel of Independence) and recharge your batteries in one of the many restaurants that you will find in the Zona Rosa. 
One of the must-see sites is the Bosque de Chapultepec, where you can also visit the Castillo de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Castle), which was the home of Maximiliano and Carlota. In this area you will find a wide variety of museums, theaters, cultural and entertainment centers, as well as art galleries. If you go with your family you can also enjoy various activities on the lake. The Roma and Condesa neighborhoods stand out for their constructions of various architectural styles. They are also an excellent choice to go out to dance, dine or have fun in one of the bars and restaurants in the area. In the southern part of the city you will find more museums and exhibitions inside Ciudad Universitaria (University City). Arrive at the beautiful neighborhood of Coyoacán, which was the place where Frida Kahlo grew up. We also recommend you to visit San Ángel and Tlalpan, which retain their provincial essence amidst the great city. Your trip to Mexico City cannot be complete if you do not visit Xochimilco and take a tour of its canals aboard a colorful trajinera. On this tour you will try Mexican snacks and surely you will dance and sing to the tunes of popular music.
A few kilometers from the City you cannot miss the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, an ancient Atzeca city, with its colossal Pyramids of the Moon and the Sun.
Close to Mexico City you can also visit Puebla and Cholula in a day.
Discovering Mexico City and each of its corners is an experience you will never forget.

Program

Day 1:
Mexico City
Arrival at Mexico City airport and private transfer to the selected hotel (3-star category in the city center, breakfast included).

Day 2:
Mexico City
Breakfast at hotel and shared day tour to the city center and the archaeological site of Teotihuacan with hotel pick up, multilingual guide and lunch included.
The excursion begins with a tour of the historic center and the Plaza de la Constitución, also known as the Zócalo and which was the most important ceremonial center of the Aztecs. This is the starting point to get to know the Metropolitan Cathedral, whose construction took 300 years and the most important in the country, and the National Palace, used for centuries as the Palace of the Spanish Viceroys and where you can admire the macros of Diego Rivera mural, a compendium of the history of Mexico. Then travel outside the city to visit the impressive and surprising city of Teotihuacán (place of the gods). It is 2000 years old. On arrival you will visit a prestigious artisan workshop where you will have a guided tour and a botanical explanation of the plant known as Maguey, in addition to the black volcanic obsidian stone. Then we will enter the most densely populated urban center on the continent in the classical period of Teotihuacán, which is about 2000 years old. During the visit you get to know its most important constructions: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Calzada de los Muertos, the Temple of the Feathered Serpent and the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, all located nearby. End of the visit for lunch at the requested restaurant (not included in the rate). return to Mexico City. Once in Mexico City, we will visit the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most important religious center on the continent, where the chapel of Juan Diego with the apparition of the Virgin is exhibited.
Return to Mexico City city center and free night.

Breakfast at the hotel and last free day to discover Mexico City and its surroundings.
Possibility to extend the stay with extra nights, excursions or add transfers to other destinations or transfer to the airport.
