Lovers of good wine will surely enjoy tasting Montenegrin wines in Šipčanik winery in Ćemovsko field - one of the largest and most beautiful vineyards in Europe, as well as in local traditional winery on the way to Rijeka Crnojevića (beautiful small historical place). You will have the opportunity to take a photo on the Pavlova side, viewpoint from which photos represent Montenegro in magazines all over the world, and visit Cetinje, the former royal capital. In this arrangement we offer you combination of stunning Adriatic and central area of Montenegro. Through the walking city tour you will explore Podgorica – the capital of Montenegro, where you will stay during the arrangement. Next days, you will visit Ostrog monastery – the third most visited monastery in the Christian world, immediately after Christ’s tomb in Jerusalem and the Holy Mountain in Greece, Kuči area and tribe, Montenegrin Niagara waterfalls. Lovers of good wine will surely enjoy tasting Montenegrin wines in wine cellar Šipčanik in Ćemovsko field – one of the largest and most beautiful vineyards in Europe, as well as in the local traditional winery on the road to the Rijeka Crnojevića (beautiful little historic place). You will have an opportunity to take a photo on the Pavlova side – viewpoint from which photos represent Montenegro in magazines worldwide, and visit Cetinje – Old Royal Capital. On the other side, the beauty of the Adriatic coast and driving by Boka Bay will surely impress you. We will visit Budva – metropolis of Montenegrin tourism, also known as Queen of Adriatic, Perast and island Our Lady of the Rocks, Kotor – under UNESCO protection, one of the top 10 Europe destinations, Tivat – luxurious marina, called Montenegrin Monaco, Saint Stefan viwepoint – a unique place in the whole world, at the same time an island, a city and a hotel. You will also visit Virpazar – little fishing village on Skadar lake, Bar (Old Bar – one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and Old Olive Tree – for which it is believed that is oldest in Europe and one of the oldest in the world), Ulcinj and Long beach – Ada Bojana where you can enjoy at the most popular fish restaurants.

Program

Day 1:
Arrival at the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat). Accommodation in 4-star hotel in Podgorica. City sightseeing.

We will welcome you to the airport, and then head towards Podgorica.

Check – in hotel.

Meeting at an agreed time, and start easy walking through the city accompanied by a guide – approx. 1 hour and a half.

We start the tour from the Republic Square - the main city square. We will pass through Bokeška Street with nice cafes and urban look, a favorite place for young people to go out. We will see the Millennium Bridge that represents the visual identity of the city. We will visit the Sastavci or the Skaline - the oldest bridge in Podgorica, according to the historical facts that was established during the Roman rule. We will visit the Clock Tower and the Old Town located in the very heart of Podgorica which preserves rich historical and cultural heritage. The most beautiful example of architecture remaining from the Turkish period is the Clock Tower, which is a symbol of Podgorica. It still dominates the area of Old Town with its height. In the end we visit St. George Church which dates from the IX-XI century; belongs to the oldest active worship of the Christian chapel in the area of Montenegro and beyond.

Back to the hotel. Spare time. Overnight stay.

Day 2:
Njeguši village – Njegoš's Mausoleum – Lovćen serpentine – Kotor – Speed boat tour (Our Lady of the Rocks and Saint George island, Perast) - Budva

Breakfast.

Drive towards Njeguši village (approx. 1 hour). Arrival at the village Njeguši – the birthplace of Petar II Petrović Njegoš. The place is also known for traditional prosciutto, homemade cheese, honey and wine. Tasting of traditional products (about 1 h and 15 min).

Taking ride to Njegoš’s mausoleum (approx. 20 minutes).

Visit Njegoš’s mausoleum (461 steps to the top). Stairs to Njegoš’s mausoleum lead through the tunnel pierced through the mountain, and after a few minutes of walking, you arrive at the “sky under the clouds”, to the Jezerski vrh, from where all around you is provided as in the palm – approx. 1 hour.
Taking ride along Pass along Lovćen serpentine – the way they arrived many influences of various civilizations in Montenegro, such as: good wines from the French, silk fabrics of the Far East, the first ski from Norway… (approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes).
Arrival at Kotor. Easy walk through its Old Town, where you can see its famous monuments and squares – the Arms Market, Saint Tryphon Cathedral and square, Saint Luke’s church and square, Maritime museum and square, Cats square. Free time. Total time in Kotor: approx. 1 hour and 30 min.
Speed boat tour (duration approx. 1 hour and a half). You will see the most iconic lcations in the Boka Bay and enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
Heading towards the Perast. During this first part of the tour you will enjoy in the beautiful landscapes and panoramic views of Boka Bay. Firstly, you will enjoy in the panoramic view of Old Town Perast. Perast’s shore is lined with Baroque palaces and graceful churches. Perast was once a powerful maritime centre and it even had a shipyard. St. George’s Island is one of the two islands on the coast of Perast. Unlike Our Lady of the Rocks, it is a natural island. It is forbiden for tourists to visit it so the speedboat will cruise around it while you take pictures and will continue to Our Lady of the Rocks island. Afterwards the speedboat docks on Our Lady of the Rocks island, where you have 20 minutes to look aroud, take pictures and even go inside the church and museum. Our Lady of the Rocks is a man-made island and a Catholic church that has been built over 600 years ago.
The end of speed boat tour.
Drive to Budva (approx. 1 hour).
Old Town sightseeing: beautiful churches, squares, Citadela. Enjoying in a walk in the winding streets and a beautiful marina (approx. 1 hour).

Return to Podgorica. Free time. Overnight.

Day 3:
Morača Monastery – National park Biogradska Gora – Kolašin – Drive along highway

Breakfast.

Driving towards Morača Monastery along the Morača river canyon, known as Platije, one of the most attractive canyons in the region. Mountains that rise steeply above the river formed one of the most interesting landscapes in Montenegro. You will enjoy the view, and we will also take a photo pause to capture the beauty of nature (time of drive approx. 40 minutes).

Arrival at the Morača monastery. Tour of the Monastery – approx. 30 min. Many visitors describe the atmosphere in the monastery as something special. There is a story that the yellow stone from which the monastery was built was brought from the village of Tušina by the formation of a column of people and the stone was passed from hand to hand.

We continue our journey towards National park Biogradska gora “realm of untouched nature” – approx. 1 hour.

A tour of the park in which heart the Biogradsko lake is located, a special tourist attraction (tour duration approx. 1h and 30 min).

Driving to Kolašin, enjoy the beautiful landscapes – approx. 30 min.

Free time for city sightseeing – approx. 1 hour. Short stay in this area will make you feel all the benefits of an aerial spa. Mountain climates, altitude and clean air and healthy natural food, guarantee refreshment and recovery.

Return to Podgorica. Free time. Overnight.

Day 4:
Lipa cave – Cetinje – Local Traditional Winery – Rijeka Crnojevića – Pavlova side

Breakfast.

Drive to Lipa cave (approx. 40 min).

Arrival. Tourist train riding (only available during summer season) from the parking to the entrance into the cave (800 meters).
Cave passage with a licensed tourist guide – approx. 40 min.
Drive to Cetinje – approx. 10 min. Arrival at Cetinje. City sightseeing: Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri church, the former Njegoš’s residence - Biljarda, King Nikola’s museum, the Presidential Palace (duration approx. 1h).

Taking ride to the Local traditional winery. Sightseeing winery, wine cellar and vineyards. Listening about production of wines, brandies, liqueurs, jams…
Wine tasting (3 types of wine) and snack – approx. 1 hour.

Continuing drive to Rijeka Crnojevića. Arriving at Rijeka Crnojevića. Sightseeing.
Free time to enjoy at one of the restaurants (approx. 1 hour).

Return to Podgorica with photo break (approx. 20 min) on Pavlova side, one of the most attractive viewpoints in Montenegro, the most famous "picture card" of Montenegro.

Arrival. Free time. Overnight.

Day 5:
Ostrog Monastery – Virpazar – Skadar lake cruising tour – Bar – Old Bar – Old Olive Tree

Breakfast.

Driving towards Ostrog – approx. 1h.

Coffee break at the restaurant on the way to the monastery - optional (approx. 30 min).

Arrival at Ostrog monastery. Free time for sightseeing of the upper and lower monasteries. In the monastery we will bow to the relics of the great Saint Vasily Ostroški and hear and see incredible tales of Ostrog miracles (about 1h and 30min).

Driving towards Skadar Lake about – approx. 1 hour and a half.

Arrival at Virpazar, a fishing village with charming stone houses. A short walk. Free time for climbing on the Besac fortress - the most attractive viewpoint on the Skadar Lake, or drinking coffee at one of the restaurants – optionally (approx. 20 min).

Start of cruising. The cruise lasts about 1hour and 30 minutes. You will see fishing villages, cultural and historical monuments, the flora and fauna of the lake, and take swim in the lake.

After cruising, having lunch in unrepeatable ambience – approx. 1 h 30 min.

Continuing drive to the Old Town Bar – approx. 30 min.

Visiting one of the oldest archaeological sites in the world. Old Olive Tree visit – total approx.1 h.

Back to the hotel. Free time. Overnight stay.

Day 6:
Transfer to the airport (Podgorica or Tivat) or port (Kotor/Bar/Tivat)

Breakfast at the hotel. Check – out. Free time. Transfer to the airport or port.
