BOUTIQUE DMC
The program is designed to offer in a few days all the best that LAKE COMO can offer. This small coveted Italian town enjoys a beautiful mild climate during the seasons of spring, summer and autumn. Its proximity to the Milanese metropolis, its airports and the main railway stations make it easily accessible.
Our properties are located in the historical centre of the city; these apartments are called "Boutique Apartments", thanks to their elegant and refined furnishings. The buildings dispose of AC system and elevator.
Types of apartments: two-rooms apartments, lofts and lake view apartments available.
The program starts with an orientation tour of the city, including the visit of the beautiful cathedral "il DUOMO" and the main streets and monuments of the medieval period. At the end an aperitif will be served in one of the fashionable bars of the city. Dinner in one of the restaurants selected ( 3 courses).
- 2 adults / 2 adults+ 1 child ( 0-12 years ): double room & sofa bed in the living room or double room + single room, with bathroom. Or spacious lofts and apartments located in buildings of artistic and historical importance.
- 4 adults / 4 adults + 1 child (0-12 years): 2 double rooms + living room with sofa bed, 2 bathrooms
- 4 adults / 4 adults + 1 child ( 0-12 years ): large apartments with lake view or in the pedestrian area.
Day 01
h.3.00 pm check-in in one of the selected apartments
Apartment meeting with assistant. Presentation of the program and delivery of vouchers for the agreed services.
h. 04,30 pm meeting with a guide in the chosen language. 2 hours orientation tour of the city including the medieval historical centre, the visit of the Duomo, the main squares ( Piazza San Fedele, Piazza Volta, Piazza Cavour )
An Italian Style" aperitif served in a trendy bar in the city, in front of the Cathedral.
Dinner in one of the restaurants selected by COME TO COMO LAKE - 3 courses

Day 02
h. 09.45 am Meeting with COME TO COMO LAKE Staff
h. 10.00 am boarding on private boat Venetian Limousine.
Departure for a 6-hours cruise (5 hours in winter) on the beautiful Lake Como, which offers a wonderful natural landscape, characterized by picturesque villages lying on the green waters of the lake including Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Isola Comacina, Lenno, Bellagio, Varenna); all surrounded by a frame of luxuriant hills up to the enchanting view of the peaks of the majestic Alps; thanks to the private boat it is possible to get closer to the elegant villas, testimony of a royal past that saw the European upper middle class choose this destination as their holiday destination: Villa Olmo, Villa del Grumello, Villa Erba ancient residence of Luchino Visconti, Villa Pliniana, Villa D'Este (today a famous hotel of great luxury and tradition), Villa Fontanelle former residence of Gianni Versace, Villa Oleandra summer residence of George Clooney.
Stop in the beautiful town of Bellagio, called "pearl of the lake", for a pleasant walk through the characteristic streets of the village, with a fun shopping in boutiques featuring regional products.
Entrance to the wonderful park of Villa Melzi * where there is also the gazebo where Napoleon Bonaparte used to sip his tea during his summer holidays.
Lunch in a restaurant overlooking the lake. On the way back, stop at the famous Villa del Balbianello *(set of numerous films including Casino Royale, Ocean's Twelve, Star Wars EP II, etc ...) with a visit to the gardens and terraces on the lake. Return to the city
NOTES*
The Park of Villa Melzi and the Gardens of Villa del Balbianello will be closed during the winter season (November-March). Therefore COME TO COMO LAKE compensates for the shorter duration of the cruise and the income of these villas, with a delicious wine testing in town, based on typical products and regional wines.

Within h 10.00 am Check-out - Meeting with the assistant and possibility to do extra activities, purchased online when booking the Tour:

- PANORAMIC TOUR OF COMO IN FIAT 500 VINTAGE ( see description and costs in the "EXTRA" section )

-2 Overnight in one of the listed apartments including cleaning
-2 hours of guided tour of the city with a private guide in the required language
-aperitivo Italian style in a trendy city bar
-dinner at restaurants in town ( 3 courses)
- FD 6 hours private boat cruise on the lake ( 5 hours from November to March )
- lunch in restaurant (3 courses) lake view
- entrance ticket to the Villa Melzi Gardens*.
- entrance ticket to the Gardens of Villa del Balbianello*.
The Gardens of Villa Melzi and Villa del Balbianello are closed in winter from November to March. COME TO COMO LAKE compensates for the lack of these two services and the reduction of one hour of the cruise with a wine testing in the city centre based on typical regional products.
The Captain of the boat also acts as a guide (Italian and English language) for historical and logistic information during the cruise.
