Day 01 - ARRIVAL
Check-in at the Hotel (from 03.00p.m.) meeting with local assistants for information and voucher delivery.
Half-day excursion dedicated to the private visit of the city of Como with a professional guide, lasting about 4 hours (on foot): walk on the avenue that runs along the lake, continuation to the wonderful Gelpi pedestrian walk, among breathtaking villas and the waters of the first basin del lago, arrival at the park of Villa Olmo majestic structure overlooking the park. Return to the city center walk along the dam up to the modern monument of Libeskind: The Life Electric, dedicated to Alessandro Volta, famous Como citizen inventor of the battery Walk in the walled city among the most significant squares: P.zza Cavour, P.zza Duomo, Piazza Volta, Piazza S. Fedele. The beautiful Duomo and the most evocative points. Duration of the excursion about 4 hours.
Italian-style aperitif at one of the trendy bars in the city center.
Overnight at the Barchetta Excelsior hotel in the city center, or similar in the 4-star category.
Day 02 - THE CRUISE ON THE LAKE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day dedicated to beauty, glamor fun and many wonders!
Meeting with the local assistants to reach the boarding area (5 minutes on foot) on an elegant private boat typical of our lake. On board there is a bottle of prosecco for a toast in great beauty! The expert captains also act as guides in Italian and / or English, giving historical-cultural and logistical information.
The cruise offers a magnificent panorama thanks to the small and picturesque villages that overlook the two shores of the lake, the lush hills that border its waters up to the enchanting view of the Alpine peaks. During navigation, you can admire the elegant villas testimony of a royal past: Villa Olmo, Villa del Grumello, Villa Erba, former residence of Luchino Visconti, Villa Pliniana, Villa D'este currently one of the most famous hotels in the world, Villa Fontanelle former residence by Gianni Versace, the super famous villa of George Clooney villa Oleandra. Stop in Bellagio for an enchanting walk through the characteristic streets and stairways of the village, a fun shopping in the small elegant boutiques. Bellagio is known worldwide as a destination for the international jet set. Entry and visit of the park of Villa Melzi, a wonderful corner of paradise.
Free time for lunch. Upon returning, stop at the famous Villa del Balbianello (set of numerous films including Casino Royale, Ocean's Twelve, Star Wars EP II, etc ...) with a visit to the gardens and terraces on the lake. Duration of excursion 6 hours.
Return to the city.
Overnight at the Barchetta Excelsior hotel in the city center, or similar in 4-star category.
Day 03 - DEPARTURE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out and vacate the room by 11.00 am.
