On the way, enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta, before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.

Day 12:
Ayers Rock
Uluru Sacred Sights & Sunset
Your Italian speaking guide will join you today for your Uluru Base & Sunset tour, providing full translation and commentary for the duration of your sightseeing.
Visit Uluṟu - Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre where there is time to purchase some locally made Aboriginal art and learn more about the Western Desert region.
Later travel around the base of Uluru with a local Driver Guide. Learn about the native flora, fauna and intriguing cultural traditions of traditional owners, the Anangu, and discover an array of fascinating sacred sites. Join your Driver Guide for a walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole. You'll explore a number of caves and view Aboriginal rock paintings as your Guide interprets their meaning and significance.
Travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area, 'Sunset Strip' and relax with a glass of wine and Nibbles as the sun sets over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluṟu is renowned.
Please ensure you have a minimum of 1 litre of water with you for your walk.
Day 13:
Ayers Rock to Cairns

Your Italian Speaking Guide will join you today for your Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta tour, providing full translation and commentary for the duration of your sightseeing.
Rise early this morning to travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku in Uluru & Kata Tjuta National Park. Watch the first rays of the sunset the Red Centre alight while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. Then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta, before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta.
Seat in coach transfer organised by Voyagers hotel and based on your flight.

Mossman Gorge: Visit Mossman Gorge Centre and enjoy morning tea before boarding the shuttle for your transfer into Mossman Gorge. Discover secrets of the world’s oldest tropical rainforest as your driver takes you on a guided walk through the Gorge boardwalk, sharing their knowledge and the history of this World Heritage-listed region.
Daintree River Cruise: Hop aboard the Daintree River Cruise and reach an understanding of the intricate Daintree eco-system. Keep an eye out for wildlife including the elusive Saltwater Crocodile.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch in the rainforest of Noah Valley – this area is renowned for the existence of primitive flowering plants including the Idiospermum which links back to the most ancient lineages of plants found in the world today.
Cape Tribulation: Where the Rainforest meets the Reef. Walk on this world-renowned rainforest beach named by Captain James Cook on his voyage of discovery in 1770; admire the coastline and fringing Coral Reef from the Kulki Lookout.
Daintree Ice Cream Company: Stop for an afternoon refreshment included at the Daintree Ice Cream Company. Enjoy a delicious exotic fruit icecream cup featuring four flavours (gluten-free and dairy-free options available).
Alexandra Lookout: After winding through the rainforest, enjoy this spectacular lookout over the Daintree River Estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea.
Day 15:
Cairns to Green Island or Fitzroy
Private transfer to Cairns Wharf (English). Launch transfer to Green Island or Fitzroy Island.
Day 16:
Great Barrier Reef Cruise
From Fitzroy:
Guests are to make their own way to the Wharf for a 10.15 am departure (please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure) Sunlover Reef Cruises air-conditioned Catamaran departs Fitzroy Island at 10.15 am to the Pontoon at Moore Reef on the Outer Barrier Reef. Guests have 4 hours on the pontoon to experience the reef from many aspects. You will return to Fitzroy Island at approximately 4.30 pm.
From Green island:
Three hours at the Outer Reef Activity Platform, Snorkeling equipment, use of Buoyancy vests, Reef education presentation, Hot and cold buffet lunch, Semi-submersible coral reef viewing tour, Underwater Observatory, Guided Eco Reef Talk in the underwater observatory, Afternoon tea and coffee available whilst at the platform, cheese and biscuits on return journey.
Day 17:
Green or Fitzroy to Cairns and onward
Depart Green Island or Fitzroy Island by launch to Cairns Wharf. Upon arrival, private transfer to Cairns Airport. (English)
