Day 1:
Bali, Sanur
Arrival in Denpasar airport (Bali) and transfer to Sanur. Night at the hotel in Sanur.
Day 2:
Ubud Monkey Forest, Taman Ayun, Tanah Lot (Breakfast)
Breakfast and morning free at leisure to relax. Leave from the hotel early in the afternoon to go to the Sacred Monkey Forest where about 340 cheeky monkeys live free and have fun around the tourists through the large forest. Continue to Taman Ayun Royal Temple, which you can translate by “Beautiful Garden”, in Mengwi, declared UNESCO world heritage since 2012. Built in 1634, the temple sits in the middle of large ponds with a beautiful Balinese style architecture. At last, head to the famous Tanah Lot temple, the temple of the Earth and the Sea, dedicated to the Sea Goddess, the fishes and navigants protector. From the top of the rock, the best point of view in Bali awaits! Back to the hotel in Sanur and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3:
Barong Dance, Tegalalang, Tirta Empul, Mas (Breakfast, Lunch)
In the morning, head to Batubulan to experience the famous Barong dance, representing the eternal fight between the good and the bad. Afterwards, move North to admire one of the two most famous rice paddies of the island : Tegalalang, the most touristic but worth it attraction in Bali. Take a walk through the green lush paddies and discover the oldest and most efficient irrigation system called “Subak”, declared to the UNESCO World Heritage. Then, continue to the area of Kintamani, from where we can get the best views of Mount Batur and its lake. Lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the Batur valley. In the afternoon, visit a coffee plantation where your guide will reveal the making processes before a tasting session. Drive back South and stop at the Tirta Empul where worldwide Hindu worshipers travel to take a bath in the sacred purified waters. A special moment to many visitors who enjoy observing locals' religious habits. At last, stop in Mas on the way back home to meet wood carvers in their element. Back to the hotel in Sanur.
Day 4:
Batukaru, Jatiluwih, Ulun Danu Bratan (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start the day visiting Batukaru temple. Situated in the foothills of the Batukaru mount, this temple is part of the 9 main temples of the island, giving protection to its people from the bad spirits. Then, take a dip in the hot springs close to the temple, and head north to the beautiful lush green UNESCO world heritage rice fields : Jatiluwih. Take a short walk, and stop in a local restaurant offering panoramic views for lunch. Afterwards, get to the region of Bedugul to admire the famous Pura Ulun Danu, located on the Beratan lake. Dedicated to Dewi Danu, the water goddess, the temple is an iconic image representing the beauty and spirituality of the island of Gods. Stop at the Candikuning traditional market, full of colorful snacks, fruits & flowers, before heading back to Sanur and end of our services.
