This hotel occupies the best location in Wengen. It stands in its own woodland and magnificent, extensive gardens which are a mass of bloom in summer. It offers incomparable views of the Jungfrau massif area, the Breithorn range and the whole Lauterbrunnen Valley. Though it is just a few steps from the village centre, the hotel is absolutely peaceful at all times of the day and night, and Wengen is virtually traffic-free. Guests will find the nearest restaurants, shops, bars and nightspots just 300 m away and the village centre and the Männlichen cablecar are just 3 minutes' walk. The railway station is a 5-minute walk on virtually level ground and it is around 2 km to the cross-country ski runs and the ski area, and 12 km to Interlaken.

The holiday village was built in 1890. The complex has 15 single rooms and 25 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift.
