Scandic Alexandra has 165 rooms, 120 of which have a balcony overlooking the magnificent fjord, Moldivene islands and the 222 mountain peaks that make up the Molde panorama. It’s one of the county’s most versatile hotels for training courses, meetings and conferences and also a popular business hotel in the region. Less than an hour away, you’ll find tourist attractions such as Trollstigen (The Troll’s Road) and Atlanterhavsvegen (Atlantic Ocean Road), and fantastic mountain tours both summer and winter in Isfjorden or Eikesdalen.

The hotel has both a large capacity restaurant to welcome guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner and an à la carte restaurant where you can eat in calm and peaceful surroundings. Right next to the reception you’ll find our lobby bar, barA. The sports bar 1911 plays on Molde’s proud footballing traditions and is located in the east wing of our hotel. A few years ago, Club Alex gym opened next door to the reception and all guests are offered access free of charge. Up to 30 cars can park securely in the underground car park.

There are 18 training and conference rooms, in all shapes and sizes. Many of the meeting rooms can be opened up and joined together, which means a unique ability to find the perfect solution for your needs.
Alexandrastua, Dikterstua, Peisstua and Teatersalongen together make up the acclaimed venues. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is being served at each one. All of these venues are ideal for hosting lunch and dinner events when a separate space is required. In Dikterstua there is even a à la carte from Monday to Saturday with delicious food in peaceful surroundings.
