A typical Alpine shelter in wood and stone, the Vieux Crest is located in the village's former school, 100 metres from the Monte Rosa ski slopes. It features rooms overlooking the mountains.

Rifugio Vieux Crest is a 10-minute walk from the top of the Champoluc - Crest cable way. It can also be reached from Champoluc with a 60-minute mountain trek. Luggage come with you in the cable car.
