The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Saint Helier, about a 5-minute drive from the town centre. The island is 14.5 km by 6.5 km, so nothing is far away. Jersey Airport is only about 7 km from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1860. Guests have a choice of 284 non-smoking rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts.
