About 500 metres and an 8-minute stroll from the Happo-One Ski Resort gondola lift station, Hotel Taigakukan features hot-spring baths, a restaurant and bicycle rental. Both Western and Japanese-style rooms are offered, some with a private bathroom. Free WiFi access is available throughout the entire property. Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal is a 4-minute stroll.

You can sleep in traditional Japanese futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, or book a room with Western-style beds. All rooms include an en suite toilet and a TV.

The Nakiyama ski area is an 4-minute walk, while the hotel is a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station, and Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium is a 15-minute walk away. On-site parking is free. A rental ski store and restaurants are within walking distance.

Ski equipment can be rented and stored, and the hotel sells ski passes. A coin launderette is on site.

Western and Japanese dishes are served at the restaurant, and guests can relax with a cocktail at Stammtisch Bar.
Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
