Description

This 19th-century guest house is set amongst the Dão Region vineyards of central Portugal. It features traditional-style accommodation and a shared lounge decorated with antique furniture and ornate chandeliers. The swimming pool is surrounded by lush gardens.

All of the rooms, apartments and suite include views of the landscaped gardens and a private bathroom. Some have a living area with sofa and TV and a dining area with fully equipped kitchenette.

Quinta da Fata serves a daily buffet breakfast at the terrace or in the breakfast room. Barbecue facilities are also available.

The sun terrace overlooks the pool and is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a games room on site and day activities in the area include use of free bicycles to visit local wineries or horse riding.

The historic town of Viseu is 25 minutes away by car, while Serra da Estrella is a 1-hour drive away. Viseu Airport is 35 km from Quinta da Fata.
