The hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Guanajuato and around 30 minutes from the international airport. Irapuato is about a 35-minute drive away and visitors can reach León from the hotel in around 40 minutes.

The hotel was built in 1982 in the style of a hacienda and was renovated in 2006. It is surrounded by great trees and extensive gardens and offers a range of wheelchair accessible facilities. The building comprises a total of 24 rooms, spread over 2 floors. Facilities on offer include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a safe and a currency exchange facility. A bar-restaurant, a games room and conference/ event rooms with a capacity of 10-180 people and Internet access are also available. In addition to this the hotel offers a concierge service, medical assistance, a playground, cycle hire and parking for those arriving by car.

The spacious rooms are carpeted and come with 2 double beds, Sky TV and an en suite bathroom.

Body and facial massages are on offer, and there is a swimming pool with a warm-water children's area in the grounds. Sun loungers and parasols are also laid out ready for use by the pool area. Furthermore, guests can play board games, billiards, volleyball and football and go cycling, drive quads or ride horses in the local area.
