Program details

Transfer from the hotel to Khao Yai National Park. The park, established in 1962, covers an area of over 2,000 km2 and is home to many protected species. In 2005 the park, along with the Dong Phaya Yen Mountains, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the park, there are several rivers and beautiful waterfalls including Heo Narok, 80 meters high, made famous by the movie The Beach starring Leonardo di Caprio. This protected area is home to over 300 species of birds and over 60 mammals, including bears, elephants, tigers, gibbons and wild boars.

Program:
- 0700 AM: departure from your hotel in Bangkok and transfer to the province of Nakhon Nayok. Stop at a fruit market on the way.
- 10:00 AM: arrival at the Khao Yai National Park and jungle trekking with a guide and scout (about 2 hours).
- 12:00 lunch at a typical restaurant inside the park.
- 13.00 visit the waterfalls (completely full of water only during the monsoon season).
- 13.30 elephant trekking to explore the jungle.
- 15.00 return to Bangkok
