Program details
This tour will visit the magnificent 9th century Prambanan Temple is a Hindu temple located in Indonesia. The temple is estimated to being built in the 9th Century, and is the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia. There were 240 temples in the complex, however today, most are in ruins. The temples feature cone-like roof tops, carvings on the outside, and religious statues inside. After that, visit also the nearby temples of Kalasan, Sewu and Plaosan. Remark: Prambanan - Every Monday visitors are unable to visit Pelataran / Temple Yard of Prambanan Temple for preservation and conservation reason. The visitors can only visit until Area 2 courtyard. From this area visitor still can have nice background of photos and can touch 3 smaller temples. Prambanan temple is closed during Nyepi (Silence) day.
