Program details

Finding it hard to pick out the top ""must-see"" spots of Oslo? Let us help! Together we'll sculpt the perfect experience as we walk through the city centre ending up in one of our favourites parks in town, Vigeland Park. We guarantee an all-encompassing experience that will leave you in awe of what Oslo has to offer.

We'll start by painting the picture of the story of Oslo from the Nobel Peace Center, where we have a pristine view of the Oslo Fjord. With Akershus Fortress looming in the distance, she stands guard watching over Oslo’s waterfront and Aker Brygge. We’ll reveal some of the greatest Norwegian playwrights at The National Theatre; present the Oslo City Hall, home of the local government and an art gallery in itself; and show off the Royal Palace, perched on a hilltop overlooking the main pedestrian shopping street, Karl Johans gate. Once we have enjoyed a nice stroll through the city centre, we'll jump on a tram destined for an Oslo essential. Any ideas which one?

Stepping off the tram, we arrive in the area of Frogner, where we are greeted by the grand gates of Vigeland Park. One man, hundreds of sculptures, it's the largest sculpture park in the world. How is it possible you ask? The magic of Gustav Vigeland, one of Norway's most appreciated sculptors. We promise you won't be disappointed. The park is jaw-dropping, so we don't want to rush the experience - you have the option to finish your tour in Vigeland Park, after a short guided tour in the park. If you prefer to start with Vigeland Park, that's always an option, ending the tour in the city centre.

Just like Gustav Vigeland, we've managed a feat of our own. We’ve covered all the "must-sees" of Oslo in only three hours, on our Oslo & Vigeland Park Private Walking Tour, which is no small challenge!

Please note: This tour ends in the Vigeland Park so you may continue to enjoy the park. Guests make their own way back via walking or public transport (ticket provided by guide included).
