Program details
Leave Budapest behind as you enjoy a scenic drive towards the baroque city of Kecskemét, where you will enjoy a guided walk around the beautiful city centre and see some of the most important squares and buildings, such as the Kossuth Square, the main square home to the famous City Hall, Theatre and churches.
Next, leave the city as you head to a traditional Hungarian farm in the countryside. After being greeted by the horse(-herds)men, you can taste the famous Hungarian welcome drink, Barack Pálinka (Apricot Schnapps) and a Pogácsa (salty scone). You will then step aboard a horse-drawn carriage for an exciting ride around and through the Puszta.
The program continues with a traditional horse show, which includes several breathtaking field performances. You are then invited for a three-course lunch including the famous Hungarian goulash soup, accompanied by Hungarian gypsy music. You will also have the possibility to ride these beautiful horses. Afterwards, you will be taken back to the city centre, where the tour comes to an end.
