Admire the breath-taking panoramic views down over the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean as you learn about the area’s fascinating history. Don’t miss the magnificent Maori carvings that stand guard there and have passed the test of time.
From here continue westwards, heading for New Zealand's wild and rugged West Coast. In the company of your experienced local guide you’ll go for a walk through a well-preserved area of Auckland's coastal rainforest as you learn all about the local flora and fauna. Stop to admire the giant tree ferns growing alongside picturesque streams in this regenerating rainforest.
You’ll also get to visit a magnificently secluded West Coast beach where you walk along the iconic black sands and enjoy the bracing ocean breeze.
