Be picked up from your hotel ready for the flight to Mundo Maya International Airport, where once you have arrived, you’ll be navigated through the dense jungle to Tikal National Park. Stretching over 576kms2, the park is home to a major archaeological site that is of both historical and ecological importance. Wander around impressive remains of temples, palaces, Acropolis, altars, wakes and courtyards set in one of the most arresting and striking settings in the world. Explore the 154ft high Big Jaguar Temple, built around 700 AD as well as the tallest temple at 230ft high, as your expert guide regales you with stories and history behind this monumental site.
