We will show you where there used to be a synagogue, now replaced with a memorial, next drive to a fountain which can fill up your cup with wine, or so the legend says. We will also take you through Ventúrska street, which is known for its musical history, and where the first university in Slovakia established. Here Mozart, then a little 7 year old child, gave his concert. In our capital city of Bratislava famous musicians like Joseph Haydn, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Ján Nepomuk Hummel, Franz Liszt and Béla Bartók performed concerts. At the end of Ventúrska street we join the coronation road, and we will show you the coronation cathedral of the Hungarian kings – Saint Martin’s cathedral. Lower down the street is the magnificent Clarissine Church. Did you know that the narrowest street in Bratislava is in the old town? Our tour will drive you through it. One of the houses on this street belonged to city executioner. Just as we exit the street we will stop by the last remaining city gate – the Saint Michael’s gate. During the tour you will see a lot of palaces from the Maria Theresia era, the beautiful Slovak National Theater, the plague pillar statue and a lot of other interesting things.
