Program details

Start the day with a trip to the "loveliest castle in the world", Leeds Castle, where an exclusive experience awaits. The Royal residence for six of England's medieval queens, a palace of Henry VIII, and a retreat for the rich and powerful. This Norman castle was built on two small islands, in the middle of a lake, and is surrounded by a vast estate. Enjoy a private tour of the castle before it opens its doors to the public and explore the chapel, galleries, courtyards and banqueting hall before taking time to enjoy the breathtaking settings.

Continue as you head to the spectacular White Cliffs of Dover, which line approximately 5 miles of the Kent County coastline. See this 100-meter-high geological wonder up close and one of the busiest harbours in Europe before heading to Canterbury where you will visit the impressive Gothic Cathedral, one of the oldest and most famous religious buildings in England. You will also have time to take a stroll through the old part of the city, where you can make a stop to recharge your batteries at one of the many bars and restaurants in the area.

The next stop is Greenwich, closely linked to the sea, science, rulers and time. See the Cutty Sark, the fastest sailing ship of its time, and see the palaces and parks that crowd this historic neighbourhood on the south bank of the River Thames.

Top off the day with a relaxing evening cruise along the Thames. Watch the sun set over the horizon as you pass some of the capital's top attractions, such as the Tower of London, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
