Day One

Meet our representative at Dublin’s Heuston Station and set off by rail to the west coast of Ireland. The journey takes us through the lush countryside of county Kildare and through the midlands and Bog of Allen, a vast expanse of peat-land. Get your first glimpse of Galway Bay as we approach before arriving into the city, once a small fishing village.

Enjoy some free time exploring Galway City, a friendly and vibrant place centred upon the estuary of the River Corrib. In the early evening we depart to Bunratty Village in County Clare where a night of legendary Irish entertainment at Bunratty Castle awaits. Check into the Bunratty Castle Hotel and enjoy a medieval banquet before getting some rest for our next day’s adventure.

Day Two

After visiting Bunratty Castle and Folk Park we make our way the Cliffs of Moher, some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Enjoy exploring the dramatic coastline before we set off on the coast road back to Galway, stopping for plenty of photo opportunities along The Burren, a unique lunar landscape. Pass through quaint villages before arriving into Galway where we take the train back to Dublin via Athenry, Tullamore and Athlone.
