Program details

Come and taste the real Ireland with this fascinating visit to the historic Guinness Storehouse. Ireland's number one visitor attraction is indelibly intertwined with the country’s heritage, culture and image, as you will discover. The experience ends on a high in the Gravity Bar at the top of the storehouse, from where you can enjoy wonderful views of Dublin while sipping a pint of the black stuff (if you’re over 18, of course)!

This robust seven-storey former fermentation plant has been continually updated to create a blend of fascinating industrial tradition with a contemporary edge. Each floor brings to life the rich heritage of Guinness, telling the stout’s story from its origins here at the St James's Gate brewery to its growth as a global brand. When you reach Gravity Bar, as many have said, you have truly reached the top of the world.

Learn the dramatic story of the brew popularly as the ‘black stuff’. Hear all about Arthur Guinness and how he came to found a brand that more than 250 years later is recognised all over the world. Discover what goes into making the stout: the ingredients, the process, the passion. Admire the beautiful and colourful collection of Guinness posters, which have become marketing icons thanks to the popular toucan and slogans such as ‘Guinness is good for you’ and ‘My goodness, my Guinness’.

There are a number of restaurants in the storehouse that specialise in Irish cuisine with a Guinness twist and you can’t miss the souvenir shop and its selection of branded goods.
