Enjoy an enchanting evening out at the Vaux le Vicomte castle to the south of Paris. A masterpiece of 17th century architecture, this classic French chateau features an extravagant and luxurious interior that once hosted some of the French aristocracy’s most famous parties.

Combined with the stunning grounds and gardens, which are lit by 2000 candles, the result is an unrivalled spectacle and should not be missed.
The castle itself was a key inspiration for King Louis 14th when he commissioned the Palace of Versailles and has always had the reputation as one of the grandest chateaus in France. Learn all about its fascinating history and previous owners as you tour its many chambers and halls in the company of an audio guide. You will then be led round the on-site Carriage Museum by an expert guide before exploring the beautiful candlelit castle grounds.
Complete this magical evening with a delicious dinner in the Castle’s very own ‘Les Charmilles’ restaurant, with drinks included. Located in the park facing the chateau, you will enjoy fantastic views of the castle’s illuminations as you enjoy the fine local cuisine. This tour is a true taste of French history, culture and cuisine and you will be transferred back to your Paris hotel at the end of the night.
