Why settle for just seeing Greece while you're here? Turkey is just a short distance away and this trip is a great taster of its culture and sights.

The adventure begins with a short ride across the Aegean to one of its livliest resorts, Bodrum. Hugging two bays which are divided by a crusader castle, it is straight from a postcard. On arrival, there's a guided tour of the main landmarks and best viewpoints, letting you take photos of the town and yacht-filled harbour from above.

Then, it's onto a gold centre to learn about Turkish gold and maybe buy a few pieces. The next stop is the old town, where you'll have free time to look around the lanes and browse the bazaars.

You'll be spoilt for choice shopping wise, too. We've timed the excursion for market day, so every street is doubly loaded with shops and stalls selling spices, carpets, leather and copycat designer goods. Haggle your heart out, sip on Turkish coffee and soak up the sights and sounds before reboarding your boat back.
