Program details

We will start the tour on the western part of Reykjanes peninsula and see the most spectacular places such as Gunnuhver, hot spring in one of the largest mud pools in Iceland, Valahnúkur and Reykjanes lighthouse before stopping for lunch in the town of Grindavík.

After lunch break we will head to Krísuvík a geothermal area where you can see the boiling mud pools and smelly sulfates.

We will drive a grate road called “Vigdísarvellir” and experience the nature in a new way, mountains all around us. We will make a short stop on the way to see the lake “Kleifarvatn” and the thermal area called “Seltún”.

Meeting/ Pick up point: Bus terminal. In case clients would like to have a free hotel pick up (only for Reikiavik city center), it’s necessary to inform about the hotel name at the moment of making the reservation, otherwise the meeting point is at Hafnarstraeti 20, 101 Reykjavik.

Others: Please note that you need a valid driver’s license to operate an ATV. Children and Youth can share an ATV with their parent or guardian, but are not allowed to operate the ATV. Please note as availability in the Blue Lagoon can be limited, you are required to pre-book special treatment tickets.
