USS Constitution is a heavy frigate of the United States Navy launched in 1797 (the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel afloat). It is a wooden-hulled, three-masted ship named by President George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America. Constitution, during the War of 1812 against Great Britain, captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five British warships: HMS Guerriere, Java, Pictou, Cyane and Levant becoming very famous for her actions. The battle with Guerriere earned her the nickname of Old Ironsides.

The Bunker Hill Monument was inaugurated in 1843 in Charlestown and honours the Battle of Bunker Hill. It reaches 67 metres and it is made of granite transported to the site by means of the Granite Railway, built particularly for that purpose. Reaching the top means climbing 294 steps.
