Program details

Discover the magic of Florence in a single day on our Florence and Uffizi Gallery walking tour, visiting all of the famous sites and skipping the long lines.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Skip the long lines into the Uffizi and Accademia galleries

* Visit the city’s most important landmarks

* Have lunch in the heart of Florence where you want

Your morning begins with skip the line access to the Accademia Gallery where you have the unique opportunity to marvel at Michelangelo’s statue of the Slaves and his magnificent 17 foot marble masterpiece, the David. Then, enjoy a comprehensive walking tour visiting the most famous sites of the city centre including the Duomo both inside and outside, ‘Il Porcellino’, the leather market and the romantic Ponte Vecchio.

We take a break for lunch – ask your guide for the best lunch spots – with plenty of time for you to eat and rest before the second part of our tour starts.

In the afternoon we begin at the Uffizi Gallery where you have the chance to behold in person the immediately recognizable works of Botticelli – ‘Birth of Venus’ and ‘Primavera’. The Uffizi contains signature works of the Italian masters, including Michelangelo & DaVinci. Listen as your expert guide recounts fascinating stories about the lives of the artists, celebrated architects, and wealthy patrons that contributed to the Gallery. This very special visit concludes atop the Gallery with a lovely view of the city centre from the rooftop terrace.

If you take the tour on Sunday, as every state-run museum is free on this day we do not have skip the line access to the Accademia Gallery. Instead, we offer an extended walking tour of the city, including Mercato di San Lorenzo, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace (from outside), and the characteristic and typical area of Santo Spirito.
