Program details

Travel to pretty Fidenza Village in the heart of the Emilia Romagna region, one of the wealthiest and most populous regions of Italy. Originally established as a Roman camp, this timeless little commune in the province of Parma boasts a wealth of still visible history and tales of old, combined with fabulous shopping! The renowned artistic and gastronomic centre of nearby Palma itself has rubbed off on Fidenza, resulting in a winning combination of artistic and historic influences.

The architecture of Fidenza Village has been inspired by the region's resonant cultural heritage, and it is renowned as being the birthplace of famous opera composer Giuseppe Verdi. The sets from a number of Verdi's opera's have been incorporated into the whimsical architecture of Fidenza.

There are also buildings of a grander scale such as the town's famous Cathedral, a fine example of a Lombard-Romanesque structure. Snap a photo next to the statue of the apostle Simon Peter that points in the direction of Rome. Read the inscription he holds, stating “I show you the way to Rome” that makes the statue one of the world's first road signs. Explore the remains of the medieval town and the Palazzo Comunale, which dates back to the 14th century.

Enjoy your trip to fancy Fidenza in the ultimate of luxury, as your travel in comfort and style thanks to our top of the line transfer service. We guarantee you a relaxed, pleasant, fun and exciting excursion to one of Italy's favourite affluent escapes!
