We invite you to discover an emblematic image of the traditional village in Romania! On this Half day tour you will have the occasion to experience the traditions which are still alive, to meet the local peasants or to taste the Romanian specialties.



The tour begins with the visit of the Astra Open Air Museum, the biggest open air museum in our country: here, the ethnology and the civilisation are mixing in a wonderfull way, offering to the visitors an emblematic view over the Romanian village.



We will visit all types of houses, churches, traditional workshops, but also the beautifull collection of mills, gathered around the lake. From here, we invite you to Rasinari, a Romanian shepard village at the foothils of the Carpathian Mountains. You will get to know the traditions by interracting with local peasants and visit here the first Orthodox Mitropoly in Transylvania. Then, we drive back to the hotel you are checked-in.
