Program details

Your professional Safari Guide will lead you on an early morning desert safari drive in an authentic, museum quality vintage Land Rover, a vehicle which has played a pivotal role in the 1950’s and since then have become part of the UAE history. No other vehicle offers a more authentic desert experience to spot exotic local wildlife.

Then discover what life was like inside the Dubai desert before modern developments, when you hear fascinating tales first-hand from a local Bedouin, all within the exclusive surrounds of a private Royal desert retreat. You will have the opportunity to learn local recipes handed down from generation to generation, before enjoying a scrumptious breakfast.

Recommendations
The weather in the Dubai desert is very different than in the city.
During the day, we recommend loose fitting clothing and shoes that can be easily removed (flip flops/sandals/thongs).
At night, we recommend: from May to October loose clothing, shorts, t-shirts; from November to April dress in layers.
It can become quite cold in the desert as soon as the sun sets. Especially between December and February, the temperature can get down below 10 degrees Celsius.
A jacket is required on cooler nights in the desert.
