Program details

Explore Hong Kong where Eastern and Western cultures come together with a distinctly Latin flavour. Get to know all of the most important landmarks in this city, many of which are World Heritage Sites, and complete the day with a trip to Las Vegas Sands’ Venetian Macau Resort.

Begin your tour by being taken to Macau Ferry Terminal, where you will board a comfortable ferry to Macau. Then, alongside your knowledgeable guide, begin your sightseeing tour of the many wonderful sites that fill this city.

See the incredible Chinese style Na Tcha Temple, erected in honour of a mythical creature known as Na Tcha. After that, see the remaining sections of the Old City Walls. Built in 1569, they show an early Portuguese tradition of surrounding their port settlements with defensive walls. Both of these landmarks were declared Unesco World Heritage Sites in 2005. See, too, the Macau Fortress and the most famous landmark in the city: the ruins of St Paul’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, which conserve some beautiful statues on the façade that survived the church’s virtual destruction by fire in the 19th century.

The last leg of the tour takes you to Las Vegas Sands’ Venetian Macau Resort, the first milestone of the Cotai Strip. Enjoy a full three hours of gambling, dining, shopping and overall entertainment. Make the most of your time in these installations and go on a spree. By combining history and recreation, your experience in Macau will be one to remember.
