Travel along the rocky coast of Maine, where you will view the most photographed lighthouse in America, the famous Nubble Light, located in York, Maine. This beautiful 19th-century building is a quintessential old-fashioned lighthouse, so don’t forget your camera as it is perfect for pictures. Then enjoy a traditional New England lobster bake, prepared over a roaring wood fire – the Downeast way – and experience the true flavour of Maine right at your table.

Then stop at the famous Stonewall Kitchen to sample some of their award-winning jams, preserves and other specialties. From garlicky aoili spreads, spicy horseradish sauces to decadent syrups and moreish chocolate cherries, both sweet and savoury lovers will find something to snap up here. Continue on the picturesque 1A to the Kittery Outlets, known as America’s Maine Street for shopping, with over 120 famous name stores offering discounts of up to 60%. Enjoy approximately two hours to snaffle some bargains before returning to Boston with your stomach and shopping bags full.
