Torralba d'en Salord is next to Torre d'en Galmés, the best example of culture of talayótica in Menorca. It is estimated that lived in the town about 500 people. The village of Torralba d'en Salord was inhabited between 1000 BC and Roman times, although there remains indicate that it was also used until the Middle Ages.

Excavations began in 1973 and today still have work to do. The taula is located is the most spectacular point of this town. The taula Torralba is the most famous of Menorca with its nearly 5 meters high. When it was excavated, it was founded remains of fires, an altar and various kinds of religious figures . Nowadays on display at the Museum of Menorca . These archaeological remains confirm that taula was a place reserved for rituals of worship.
