Explore the wonders of the city of Natal, Brazil as you head out for a day long adventure full of natural beauty. With stops at some truly spectacular highlights, toss your camera in your bag and join us for a trip to remember.

Wake rested and full of energy for an early beginning to the day as you head out to Via Costeira. Enjoy breathtaking views of the shoreline as you make your way through the urban beach district. Pay a visit to the Three Kings Fort, a fortress built to protect the city against French colonial interests with a unique star shape boasting five canon positions. This construction allowed the defenders to fire from at least two positions at once if an enemy attacked from a single direction.

Continuing, cross the neighborhoods of Santos Reis, Rocas, and Ribeira, the areas first built as Natal expanded outward. Make your way to the city centre and view the stunning towers atop the cathedral of Natal. Take some time to browse and shop the colourful local handicrafts of the region with a stop to a large arts and crafts centre, before ascending the Morro do Careca, or the Bald Hill. With an astonishingly beautiful panoramic view that stretches from the outskirts of Natal all the way across to Pirangi Beach, capture some photos as mementos.

Finally, you'll wrap up the day with a visit to the largest caju tree in the world, full of beautiful fruit and cashew nuts, and enjoy a much needed, refreshing swim in the calm waters of the beach. Natal, Brazil will show you the finest of nature's bounty as you explore a colonial past and a vibrant modern day city all in one.
