Wiggle your toes in the sand or ‘hang ten’ at Cocoa Beach, the coolest strand near Orlando. Cocoa Beach is an easy hour’s drive east of Orlando along Florida’s magical Space Coast. This day trip is available as a beach-only jaunt or with an airboat tour. Natural beauty and manmade wonders coexist in Cocoa Beach, a once-sleepy resort town that didn’t get its first stoplight until the 1950s. Soon after, the seaside city’s population and prestige took off when NASA inaugurated what is now called the John F. Kennedy Space Center a few miles up the coast.


Stop by a local landmark, the Cocoa Beach Pier, which extends into the Atlantic Ocean. Built in 1962, it became the home a year later for a surf shop founded by Ron DiMenna. Ron Jon Surf Shop sold boards while building an empire based on the waves and the idea of the eternal summer. Make a pilgrimage to his one-of-a-kind Ron Jon Surf Shop about a mile south of the historic location. Spread over more than two acres, this is the world’s largest surf shop. More than two million visitors a year come to check out the scene and pick up the latest looks in surf and beach wear. Whether the surf is up or down, Ron Jon’s is open 24/7/365 and if you’re feeling adventurous, rent a board and hit the waves.


Tour only option includes round trip transportation to Cocoa Beach. The tour with airboat option includes round trip transportation to Cocoa Beach, lunch, and narrated airboat ride on the St John’s River.


Meeting/pick-up point: Pick-up available in select locations only.

Duration: Ten hours (not including transportation).

Start/opening time: Pick up times vary between 7.20am and 8.30am depending on pick up location. Cocoa Beach with Airboat is only available on Thursdays and Cocoa Beach with Transportation is only available on Mondays.

Others: Guests are given an itinerary when they get on the bus the morning of the tour.
