* The grounds of Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site

* The most iconic sites in Munich

* The world’s most famous beer hall

Set up in March 1933 shortly after Hitler came to power, Dachau served as a concentration camp for political prisoners as well as a model for all later camps. Over the course of its 12 years in existence, 200,000 people were imprisoned here and 41,500 murdered until American troops liberated the survivors. The camp now serves as a memorial and as a chilling reminder for events that will never be forgotten. Tour the site and its grounds to find out the facts and stories that defined Dachau’s role during the Nazi regime.

After touring the camp, we continue to Munich – the heart and soul of Bavaria. Stop for a beer at the world’s most famous beer hall, Hofbräuhaus, and continue the afternoon with a sightseeing tour of the city’s most iconic sites: from the beautiful Marienplatz, with its splendid neo-Gothic town hall, the Cathedral of Our Lady, to the Viktualienmarkt, a quaint farmer’s market you simply cannot miss. This full day tour introduces you to the history that has shaped modern day Munich.
