Mixing wine tasting and olive oil sampling while absorbing the stunning scenery, this tour is a delight for the palate and the soul.



The immense and superb stone fortress that stands in ruins above the Les-Baux-de-Provence village is without a doubt, one of the must-sees on the Provençal tourist trail. This medieval village is so picturesque set in a spectacular position among a rocky outcrop in the Alpilles mountains. In the valley below you visit one of the olive groves that provide such a glorious landscape. Taste olive-oil in a mill in the where olive oil, cracked olives and black olives are entitled to an AOC label. The unusual feature of this olive oil is that it is made from a blend of several varieties of olives. It is the subtle blend of these varieties, a secret jealously guarded by each producer, that gives the oils a whole palette of different flavours.



Enjoy wine tasting in an estate at the foot of the Alpilles mountains. The wines of Les Baux are defined by the unique, multi-faceted character of the soil, naturally protected and dried by the mistral wind. Les-Baux-de-Provence wines have been officially recognised since 1995 as having ‘Registered Designation of Origin’, or Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée in French.
