Whether you're thinking about a career with dolphins or just want to spend more time with them, then this is an adventure designed for those really looking to change their lives - enjoy a full day's work of learning and having fun caring for one of the most enchanting and intelligent mammals in the world. Participate in training sessions and help with show set up and much, much more!

As a marine mammal trainer you will work side by side with the team of professional trainers, receiving training basics and orientations for the different marquee shows, assisting with daily show set-ups, watching and providing feedback on the shows, as well as helping with other essential activities.

Working behind-the-scenes alongside our dolphin experts, you'll be in close contact with our resident Pacific Bottlenose dolphins throughout the entire day, while witnessing first-hand the intriguing world of marine mammal professionals.

You'll also learn special hand training signals and positive reinforcement so you can communicate directly with these highly intelligent creatures at the same time as you gain unique insight into the behaviour of these mysterious creatures.

There also be plenty of time for getting to know these friendly and curious creatures in the water. You can stroke their smooth skin, feed them their favourite treats, kiss and play with them and communicate one-on-one using your newly learned hand signals. Then you’ll be shown how to grab hold of their dorsal fin and feel the power as you’re pulled along through the water.

The 5 hour programme gives you a rare glimpse at what it takes to be a Marine Mammal Trainer for a day.
