Live the essence of the Spanish culture of ‘tapeo’ and take advantage of this culinary crawl through Barcelona to get to know some of the city’s top attractions. The tour takes in select bars and restaurants where you can savour the best tapas and pintxos (smaller, more elaborate tapas) in town.


Pass landmarks such as Santa Caterina Market, the Gothic cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the city hall, the Ramblas and the Modernist complex of Sant Pau as you follow this tasty tapas and pintxos trail.


In front of Santa Caterina Market, you will find Orio Born, a Modernist space adapted to the style of the trendy Born district, while just a brief stroll from the Picasso Museum you can refresh at Euskal Etxea, the most authentic Basque tavern in the whole city. Then, close to Santa María del Mar Cathedral, there is Sagardi Gótic, a bar famed for its warm and jovial atmosphere.


In a narrow street close to the Pla de Palau you will find Golfo de Bizkaia, where can savour the best combination of products from the sea and a refreshing txakoli (a lightly sparkling white wine) in the purest Basque style.


Continue to a side street off Plaça del Pi to Irati, the first Basque tavern in the Old Town, while a few blocks from the Ramblas you will find Sagardi Centre in Carrer Muntaner. Then enjoy the stunning views and the lively atmosphere of the terrace of the Diagonal Mar shopping centre at Sagardi pintxos and at the Sant Pau complex you can take in the surroundings at the terrace of the 1902 Cafè Modernista.
