Your day will start on the calm rivers of the Penas Blancas River, you will float smoothly over the river while you spot tropical animals that sit on the banks. Next you will head to the La Fortuna Waterfall, walk down a flight of 500 stairs and jump into the cold pool at the waterfalls base. Afterwards you will visit a local family for a typical Costa Rican lunch, drink some coffee before you head to the next activity. Which is a walk through the Arenal Volcano National Park. You will learn a lot about the biodiversity and the history of this park and the volcano. The last activity is a visit to one one the many naturally heated hot springs: Baldi Hot Springs.



Safari Float - Peñas Blancas River

La Fortuna Waterfall

Back to La Fortuna the tour takes ahead for the waterfall ; a view of the 70 m high waterfall and a 600 m hike to the natural pool at the base. (Bring swim clothes, towel and special water shoes as the river bottom is rocky). Later on, drive to an organic production farm near La Fortuna for lunch.



Arenal Volcano Hike

About 2:00 p.m. tour continues to the Arenal 1968 Park, here the guide will talk about the natural and geological history of the volcano, cross a path of solid lava and enjoy an excellent view of the volcano and Lake Arenal.



Baldí Hot Springs

After the volcano Hike the bus will drive you to the Baldí Hot Springs, here you can enjoy the relaxing baths and waterfalls. At the end of the day, before driving everybody back to the hotel, a delicious buffet dinner
