Il programma nel dettaglio

The Mirador is known for the best photo opportunity spot so its cameras at the ready and selfies ahoy. With the “new” ticked off of our list its time to visit the old, tour through the hotel zone to the down town area of this huge city and the famous Mercado 28 (market 28). In recent years this local market has seen more and more popularity as the stall holders have really gone out of their way to fill the market with vibrant colors, clothing stores, jewelry, souvenirs, arts & crafts, temporary tattoos with fun henna, braided hair and many options to enjoy the best regional cuisine. Listen to bustle of the vendors as they tantalize you into their stores. Listen to the Mariachi bands playing and sample what this fantastic market really has to offer.

A hidden gem just down the road form Mercado 28 is the archaeological ruins of El Meco, a small but significant archaeological site north of Cancun. The most important is that its structure, of 12.50 m, is the highest in northern Quintana Roo. The oldest evidence corresponds to the Early Classic period, 300-600 AD, during which El Meco was a village of fishermen and important supply to the city of Coba.

For the final stop it´s time to head to the beautiful un-spoilt beach of ISLA BLANCA, declared a national park in order to preserve its narrow sandbar, sitting at very low altitude above sea level. An amazing fantastic place to cool in the sea of shades of blue or grab a beer/refreshing drink at a private beach club. The views down the coast and across to Isla Mujeres on a clear day are spectacular.
