Il programma nel dettaglio

The word Kremlin in Russian means fortress and this unconquerable citadel is the cradle of the city, its walls defiantly protecting it for centuries. To this day it remains the seat of power in Russia. Rather than a single monument, the Kremlin is an enigmatic and rather eclectic selection of churches, palaces, squares, walls and towers offering an enormous array of decorative and applied arts.

Marvel at the impressive medieval walls and watch towers that still encircle the complex. Gaze in awe at the superb churches and cathedrals with their gleaming golden onion domes. Be stunned by the immense beauty of the Great Kremlin Palace or the pretty Poteshny Palace. Then visit the fort to see the Tsar Bell, the largest bell in the world. Broken during casting it has never been rung but still remains an incredible sight.

Continue to the monumental Cathedral Square, the Sobornaya, for a in depth look at the Cathedral of the Dormition, the Cathedral of the Annunciation and the Cathedral of the Archangel. Also here are the Palace of Facets, the Church of the Deposition of the Robe and the Church of the Twelve Apostles as well as the imposing Ivan the Great Bell Tower.
