Il programma nel dettaglio

Fushimi Inari Shrine is the head shrine for some 30,000 Inari shrines across the country. It is especially famous for its seemingly endless vermilion torii (1,000 shrine gates.) Fushimi Inari was dedicated to the gods of agriculture; the deities were enrolled to ensure prosperity in business, a bountiful harvest and traffic safety. The Fox is traditionally seen as sacred, and is considered the messenger of Inari. According to Folklore, it has been said that in the olden days the Fox ate the insects that would harm the crops, which then led to a bountiful harvest. Arashiyama is notable for its view of cherry blossoms and color of autumn leaves, the bridge "Togetsukyo" which spans across Katsura River is a central landmark of Arashiyama.

The most highly recommended spot is the Sagano Bamboo Forrest! It is a plesantly cool 100m long walkway that begins from the side of the world heritage Tenryuji Temple. We will also enjoy a ride on Randen, a local train with a 100 year history. Kinkaku-ji (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage), a pagoda made to house the sacred relics of the Buddha, has given this temple the popular name Kinkaku-ji (Temple of the Golden Pavillion) complex, whose gardens and agriculture focused around a central Golden Pavilion, was said to evoke paradise on earth. The view of Kinkaku which is reflected in the Kyoko-chi (mirror pond) is very beautiful.
