This is an exclusive tour available to a limited number of visitors per day. The hosted entrance tour starts at the site of the new opening of the spectator stands.

Descend 5 meters below street level to explore the stadium in all its dimensions; get details of the Marble, Travertine, brick, columns of the main entrances. Travel back in time and admire a series of never-before-seen photographs, 3D reconstructions and information panels that tell the story of Domitian's Stadium.

Learn about the development of the site into the current Piazza and the evolution of ancient Roman sports. Hear how 30,000 spectators were divided in the arena. Admire artifacts from the time of the Roman Empire, found during archaeological excavations including fragments of sculptures and a Pentelic marble bust from the Penteli quarries in northern Athens.

This unique UNESCO World Heritage Site was Rome's first permanent venue for the Gladiatorial Games and athletics.

With your priority admission ticket, you can explore this underground space with an audio guide available in 7 languages. Domitian's Stadium (also called Circus Agonalis) could accommodate up to 20,000 spectators 'hungry' for combat and gymnastics.

It's worth taking the time to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and see the ruins of some of the city's most important sites.
